Rear View

While driving, I observed that, after passing on orange light I try to see through real mirror to check what happened to vehicle behind me. Did that passed through or jumped or Red?

Not only that, whenever there is any unusual on road, I try to often check what happened after I passed that spot. Sometimes, I go too close to car next to me.

Then, I was thinking, this is so true about most of us Indian people. We get involved in history too much and we spend most of the time in it as compared to thinking or planning about future. We thoroughly read newspaper about what “happened” in the world. We love to discuss our school/college days. We love all mysteries, what happened, how, who did it.

This is true for our working style also. We focus more on “root cause” analysis and less time on “planning”. I think we should ignore rear view sometimes and focus more on road ahead.
